Topic: Web Presence News
I've been infected with rather nasty malicious software. Thus I'll be busy for the weekend and won't be able to make any scarce updates. Apologies.

First non-trailer video has been posted - it's a quick vid showing off the differences between the NES and Virtual Console versions of the final battle in Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. I doubt it's the first video of its kind (I haven't found any) but I hope it's a help to someone... anyone... out there.

I'm taking a rather indefinite hiatus regarding all web projects. Outside of the occasional blog post and Bite commentary, EVERYTHING IS ON HOLD.
I just got too much emotional shit to deal with here.
Webstation will be dead soon
Replaced with something else
More to come...
Things haven't been going as planned, so here's a bit of a news update.
For the next month of June, all online operations (save for the Blog) will be on temporary hiatus. This will allow me to catch up on some content on the backburner for quite a bit, including a whole bunch of reviews, features, fanfics, original fics, and whatnot.
Now the Webstation has been shut down and will stay shut down for the better part of the month. The reason for this is because there'll be some restructuring on the way things are being done and so I'll be cleaning everything out. Basically, the layout and linking of elements will be the first thing to be worked on in regards to the site and then content will follow. The site will look the same (somewhat) but will clean up a lot of crap that has plagued it in recent months. Hopefully, the hiatus won't be for months on end.
With regards to fan/original fiction, I'm (very) slowly trying to get back into the groove of things. I'll be starting off with a couple one-shot posts on both FF.Net and some other site for the original story. I still intended on starting the long-agonizingly-delayed Keonoke Chronicles story this year and hope to get it ready for next year. As far as the fanfics go... well, we'll wait and see for now.
If all goes well, things should get better by Canada Day. In the meantime, have fun.
- The Bite commentary will be posted next Wednesday. You've already read half of it when I posted my 'Mania thoughts, but there's some extra stuff worth noting.
- The Webstation will undergo a revision some time next week and will be shut down as a result. Bite commentaries will be accessible during this time... so no worries there. I'm also working out a system where I can get content done and make regular bi-weekly updates to the site. More details to come.
- I'll be resuming regular features that have been abandoned sometime next month. I just hit a wall recently.
That's about it for now.
As you might have noticed, things have been a bit slow here on the blog with infrequent updates. I haven't completely abandoned things here, but I'm just going through some tough times right now. As soon as I'm done going through my shit, expect irregular updates to happen soon. Presumably, I'll have something ready in time for the new Star Trek movie when that hits.
Until then... take care or something.
Just thought you should know that a new Bite commetary has been posted. Another one will be posted next week in time for 'Mania.
Speaking of Mania, we begin the countdown to Wrestlemania 25 with some stuff. Tune in tomorrow for the first Mania thingy.
Click here for the new commentary.
The video that I said was going to pop up this month? Not happening.
The Webstation upgrade that I said was going to happen? It's still going to happen, but probably not any time soon.
The Bite commentary? End of the month, at best.
The onslaught of reviews? None of them are ready... yet.
The fanfic of which I have no shared details about? It'll be up on the Blog in two weeks.
See? Everything is going as planned.
Dang.
Using basic movie editing crap software, a voice recorder, a DVD recorder, and a couple other stuff, I'm currently hard at work at developing hard-hitting stuff for that YouTube page I have but never put stuff on it.
Don't know exactly when any of this shit is going to be ready, but I'll let you know.
A quick list of intended updates for the month:
Leaving up the graphics because I'm lazy.
In any case, Webstation is going to be getting an overhaul some time next month. No, I'm not changing the site format (God knows how long the last one took and I'm not reliving that again until next year when the site hits ten years old - yes, the site turns nine tomorrow - but I digress), but what I am going to do is infuse with a lot of old crap. I'll admit that there are still a few bugs with this design and that's due to really shitty testing procedures. For the few of you who live through this, I apologize and promise to fix most bugs while unknowingly creating new ones.
In terms of content overhauls, I'll get back to you.
Webstation graphics (both of them) have been updated to suit the holiday, but don't expect anything new until later tonight. In the meantime, go out and get some candy and show the world the holiday isn't just for costume parties on the weekends.
The Sizzler07 rant will continue this weekend.
I'm aiming for a Webstation update next Friday (the 17th). I don't know what I'm planning to put up there (or maybe I do), but an update is being planned in some case. I'm hoping this might be the start of a regular updating schedule.
In the meantime, expect two Bite commentaries to be posted this coming Tuesday; one for this month and another one for last month that wasn't posted for some reason... oh well.
